it teaches you the basics then puts you to the test. or if you have a good cheat website. it has good graphics and an understandable plot. check out this book- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Official Strategy Guide
Don't bother looking for cheats unless you have a game shark. It gives you a feel of what's really happening in the middle east. it does not swear at all unlike recent models. then you can pick up their gun. I got this game and it was so fun. Because when people die body parts don't go flying all over or anything like that. and use it. it gives you hum-vees, attack copters, and missile base action as well as the basic walking (which I like best).
oh and when a guy gets shot it's not all gorey and stuff, it looks like gas. First I'm not Scott, I'm his son. they fall and then they disappear. I like the mini games, explosives, and a special mini game in the level On Approach.
I like the Call of Duty franchise, and realizing some of the limitations of the DS system, received this as a gift along with the Nintendo DS headset. I was pretty impressed with the graphics especially on the DS, considering the platform.Pros:* Decent graphics* Awesome AC-130 level, allowing you to shoot the howitzer to help your buddies on the ground* Easy to get absorbed into the gameCons:* Game is a little short, finished within about 3 days of off-and-on playingI thought this was a solid First Person Shooter for the DS.
The game is already scripted with objectives that you must accomplish before you can advance. The good thing about the game is that the objectives are short and automatically get saved from a few objectives to the next. Sometimes it seems to take an entire clip before you kill someone, unless you use the scope and do a head shot. Given the specific 'scripted play' there is not much in terms of true adventure. The 50 caliber machine gun and helicopter scenes are really fun. This is more of an arcade shooter.Aiming weapons is performed with the touch screen, as you fire with the Left/Right buttons on the top of the DS. Luckily, you just have to keep from getting shot and your energy recharges.
I like the minipuzzles (although they are not really hard at all) that allow you to defuse bombs. You cannot switch from one squad member to another, unlike console or computer versions. It is more of an arcade type shooter rather than some of the military operation-type games I have played on a PC. Sound is excellent, as you have the background music, sound of your squad, speech which adds some element of suspense. The graphics for a handheld game are quite good and I notice no slowdown or significant visual distortion/pixelation.The player can opt for a minigame (individual missions in a campaign) or the campaign mode. In real life people would not show up in the 'radar' but it makes the game easier (i.e. You are a member of a squad performing Special Warfare Operations. Game play involves navigating through the virtual world with the multidirectional keypad while your direction (up, down, left, right) is dictated by the touchscreen.
you know 2 enemies are in the next room or around the corner). Grenade use is limited to killing foes and not for destroying obstacles (such as doors) or the navigation screen on the ship; which is a strange quirk. Overall, this is a fun game. Call of Duty Modern Warfare is a first person shooter set in the Middle East. Navigation through the game is guided by a map, which at times can be misleading as you lead to dead ends. As your energy goes down (near death), the screen turns red and you start panting (which is a nice realistic touch).
this game is fun but too short and takes way too many shots to kill a guy unless you get a head shot and the double tap to aim works pretty well but not all the time overall this games good but not as good as world at war for ds
When I first saw this game I had no clue on how they put a fps onto the ds.One of my friends had been talking about it for the Xbox 360, so I bought it.The introduction of the game is the only mission breifing that uses 3D animation, the rest just being small pictures.Gameplay itself isn't nessessarily the most thrilling, and the equipment selection is small(No desert eagle,M4,barret,and many others).Multiplayer is probably the best thing about it(Both multi and single card). One more thing, earphones make all the difference. If you play through this game without them, and then play again with them, you'll hear things that you normally wouldn't without them.If you are planning on buying this or World at war, try to find them cheap.
